NALTA Convention in Nashville | Russell T. Rudy Energy LLC
Russell T. Rudy Energy, LLC, supports both the local (ALTA) and national (NALTA) associations of lease and title analysts. We are proud to regularly attend local meetings, and advertise in publications. Earlier this fall, our Land Administration Manager, Mary LeMond, represented us at the NALTA convention in Nashville. This was a great opportunity to stay abreast of current industry practices, meet old friends, and make new ones. Mary was even able to take in some of the sights for which Music City is famous.
Mary checked in at the registration desk at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center and quickly got down to business. In addition to formal presentations, she learned a great deal in informal settings: discussing industry developments, issues, and solutions to common problems.
Here, Mary is enjoying some fresh air by the pool with Patty McLarty, the President of the local Houston Association of Lease and Title Analysts and Donna Dowling of P-2 Energy Solutions.
After a full day of meetings and presentations, Mary still had enough energy to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame, complete with a Minnie Pearl impersonator.
While downtown Mary was also able to pose with the famous Honky Tonk Guitar on Broadway Street and later enjoy the world famous country music in the epicenter of the industry.
After a couple of days of hard work and touring, it is nice to be able to just relax without leaving the hotel. Fortunately, Mary did not have to go downtown to enjoy world class music. Being able to sit by the pool and listen to the Nashville sound without having to go anywhere was a welcome respite.
Mary says that she found the entire experience both professionally and personally rewarding and has already made plans to attend next year’s NALTA convention.
