The domestic price of crude oil closed today above $104 per barrel for the first time since July 3, according to “Rigzone”. This reflects an increase of over $1 per barrel for three of the last four trading days. August deliveries rose $1.46 to $104.59, a 4.6 percent increase over the last 4 trading days as well.
However, the price of natural gas fell $.10 to $3.85 per thousand cubic feet (MCF) due to a cooler than anticipated summer.
Gasoline prices inched lower for a current national average of $3.57 per gallon, 11 cents cheaper than a year ago.
