Goodrich Petroleum Drilling Ahead in Tuscaloosa Marine Shale | Russell T. Rudy Energy LLC
Goodrich Petroleum has completed its Beech Grove 94H-1 well in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana, according to an article in “Rigzone”. The well tested at 672 barrels of oil and 412 MCF of gas per day. The well’s 6,000 foot lateral leg was completed with 21 frac stages.
Goodrich is also in the process of completing another well in adjoining West Feliciana Parish, as well as two others in Amite County, Mississippi. The operator is also drilling another well in Wilkinson County, Mississippi, and will spud two more wells in the state in the near future.
Goodrich has three rigs running in the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale, and if all goes as planned, will increase that to five by year end.
